Bob Tesar
Partner

Bob co-founded Tesar-Reynes in 1982. He began recruiting in 1977 as part of the
account service college recruitment program at Foote, Cone, & Belding. In 1978
he joined Tony Reynes at the Chicago office of executive recruiters, Judd-Falk.
Bob began his career at Michigan Bell Telephone after receiving his MBA. In
1973, he joined Cunningham & Walsh, Chicago as an account executive on the
Maremont Corporation account working on Gabriel shock absorbers. In 1975, he
joined Foote, Cone, & Belding as an Account Executive on Sears automotive
products. Later he worked on Hallmark Cards and Kraft Foods.
Bob has been active in various community athletic programs as well as being
called upon to address various college Career Day functions. He also gives time
to Children’s Memorial Hospital.
He has worked closely with the Chicago Advertising Federation, assisting them
with their Partnership For Success program, the industry’s workplace diversity
effort.
Bob has a BA and MBA in Marketing from Michigan State University.
Tony Reynes

Before co-founding Tesar-Reynes in 1982, Tony was responsible for
opening the Chicago office of Judd-Falk, a New York-based search firm.
Prior to his career in recruiting, Tony worked in both advertising and
marketing. He began his marketing career with Colgate-Palmolive. He then joined
Ogilvy & Mather, New York, where he was an account executive on General Foods
and Mercedes-Benz. In 1971, Tony joined DDB Needham, Chicago, working on the
Warner Lambert, Campbell Soup and Household Finance accounts. In 1974, Tony
joined Campbell-Mithun to supervise the United Brands business and work on new
business.
Tony has been active in the community, including teaching high school
equivalency courses in both the Navy and in New York City, as well as working
for the Illinois North Shore Blood Program, Parents against Drugs and Alcohol,
the Winnetka Caucus, the Winnetka Junior Sailing Program and the Wilmette
Community Relations Commission.
He has written articles for publications such as Ad Age, Commerce and
Recruitment Today and has been a guest speaker to grad students at Northwestern
University, to the AMA, PRSA, IABC and to several college undergraduate
programs. He is a regular speaker at Columbia College.
Tony has a BA in Economics from the University of Notre Dame and an MBA in
Marketing from Columbia University.
Wanda Zee
Vice President

Wanda joined Tesar-Reynes in 1984. She brings with her a broad range of
experience in corporate human resources and executive search.
Wanda began her career in human resources at the Brunswick Corporation. In time,
she was promoted to administer the college recruiting program for the entire
corporation, recruiting graduates from major colleges and universities all over
the country.
She was recruited by The Quaker Oats Company as Supervisor of Corporate
Recruitment, and later became Manager of Professional Recruitment for U.S.
Grocery Products, Quaker’s largest division. At U.S. Grocery, she formed a new
department responsible for all the division recruiting in product management,
marketing research, sales, and operations. She also worked with executive search
firms to seek out qualified candidates for middle and upper management
positions. In addition to her recruiting responsibilities, Wanda helped develop
and implement two very successful programs: a summer intern program attracting
top students from throughout the country, and a new training program for recent
college graduates joining the company
Wanda decided to leave the corporate environment to pursue a more
entrepreneurial career. She joined a small executive search firm and after two
years moved to Tesar-Reynes.
Wanda majored in Slavic studies at Alliance College in Cambridge Springs,
Pennsylvania.
Charles McClellan
President – McClellan Tesar-Reynes
Charles “Chuck” McClellan is the president/managing partner of
McClellan Tesar Reynes, LLC, strategic partner with Tesar Reynes. His firm
focuses on the recruitment and placement of professionals in diversity and
integrated marketing communications. Chuck is the company’s majority partner.
Bob Tesar and Tony Reynes both hold minority interest in the company.
Chuck McClellan joined Tesar Reynes in 1999 after a two-year stint with another
executive search firm. He has an extensive background in brand management,
sales, advertising account management and executive search. At Tesar Reynes, he
successfully placed advertising and marketing professionals at Leo Burnett,
Publicis, 141 Communicator, Lincoln Financial, DDB Chicago, H&R Block, General
Motors, Cramer-Krasselt, Whirlpool Corporation, Citicorp Mortgage, The National
Restaurant Association and Beltone Electronics- to name a few.
In addition to his general advertising and marketing responsibilities, Chuck
directed the Diversity and Direct Marketing practices at Tesar Reynes along with
his general advertising responsibilities. He placed diversity candidates
(African American and Hispanic) at such companies as McDonald’s, DDB Chicago,
Noble/BBDS, The Marketing Store, A. Eicoff, General Motors, Burrell
Communications Group and Carol H. Williams.
As vice president/client service director for Burrell Communications Group,
Chuck directed advertising, public relations and direct response assignments for
the agency. He gained his direct response experience while working on the NYNEX
business, producing direct mail, radio and television spots. One of the most
successful direct response commercials in the history of the company was
produced under his direction.
Prior to joining Burrell, Chuck was vice president/national sales manager for
Comark Merchandising. He cut his teeth with client brand manager and
sales/marketing positions at The Quaker Oats Company, Abbott Laboratories and
Soft Sheen Products Company.
Chuck is an active member of the Direct Marketing Association, Chicago
Association of Direct Marketing, The Chicago Association of Minority Recruiters
and the National Black MBA Association. He earned a MBA from Northwestern
University’s Graduate School of Management and a BS degree from the University
of Illinois-Chicago.
